Cheadle Hulme show went off without a hitch and the two lots of stunt group that we performed went down really well. My husband actually came to watch for the very first time (I've only been doing it for 4 years) and was really impressed at what we do. You can't actually see me in the picture - just my hands in the air as I'm the one at the back!
I actually thought that Sunday was going to be a relaxing day but found ourselves bombing around B&Q and Topps Tiles to price up the new bathroom that we are having. What with my kids wanting to buy tiles that were £85 each (!!!!) and my husband leaving all the crucial decisions up to me it turned out to be a fairly stressful day.
It's only 3 weeks and 3 days now until we go to Ibiza and I for one cannot wait - a fortnight of doing nothing and reading books sounds like bliss to me. We are going with some friends and their two kids (although one is 16 so is almost an adult) and my two girls are really excited about the whole thing. Hopefully this holiday will help me to wind down and get rid of all the stress that I'm carrying in my shoulders at the moment - I've got permanent pins and needles in my shoulders which a friend of mine ensures me is a nerve trapped by all my knotted muscle - lovely!
Cheerleading practice again tonight after running around after the kids taking one to Mad Science and the other to cheerleading. Tomorrow I'm at the Bridgewater Hall watching my oldest daughter performing with the Halle Orchestra - sometimes being a mum is the best job in the world.
