Cheerleading and Football!

Claire's Blog

Another hectic couple of days - where does the time go? My eldest daughter is competing in a national cheerleading championship this weekend with her school group - they are the current reigning national champions. At the moment this means she is at practice every night after school - she's got such bags under her eyes that she looks like she could do with some of the Red Kooga that I bought myself the other day! It certainly gives me an energy boost and she definitely needs it at the moment. My youngest daughter starts with a competition group next week so no doubt that will mean just a bit more running about for me and more fights over whose routine is best and who gets to cheer the loudest! I personally am going to be doing a stunt team display in Cheadle Hulme on Saturday 3rd July - more details to follow when my teacher finally lets me know - you are all more than welcome to come down and watch!!!
England finally came good, which is a relief as I don't think I would have been able to live with my hubby if they had gone out. The only problem we have now is that, with America qualifying top of the group, England play on Sunday and I bought my hubby tickets to watch England v Austrialia in the One Day International at Old Trafford on Sunday - big dilemma now, does he go to watch the cricket with me or do we stay at home and watch the footie? Obviously I am angling for the cricket as the tickets cost me nearly £100 - typical of the English football team to screw things up for me yet again!! As if it wasn't bad enough that their first game was on my wedding anniversary.
I'm really starting to sound like grumpy old woman now aren't I? On a more positive note, work is going really well at the moment and I've actually got an inbox that expands to only one page! Finally feels like I'm getting on top of things - must be the super energy boost that I'm getting from Red Kooga - there is smoke coming off my fingers as I'm typing - maybe its the supplement that Superwoman took???
